“Kuwait Airways” Squash Team World Championship Airline Companies

/noticias.info/ The Squash Team of “Kuwait Airways Corporation” arrived home coming from the capital of Qatar (Doha) following realizing the Squash World Championship Title of the International Airline Companies, which was held during the period from 12th until 21st of this November. Besides, the female player Heba Hamza attained the cup as the best player in the championship.

The Director of Public Relations & Information Department Mr. Adel Mohammed Bouresly, who was among those receiving the team, said that the realization of Kuwait Airways Corporation’s Team in the International Squash Championship represents an honorable achievement for the Kuwaiti sports, and also a triumph to be added to the history of the Kuwaiti Squash on the international level. He pointed out that the main goal for participating in such championships is to achieve more international wins and to strengthen the friendly and cooperative ties with the international airline companies.

Mr. Bouresly added that the Corporation is fully dedicated to lend support and backing to all sport activities, to encourage the Kuwaiti youth, and to support the sport teams that exert all their efforts toward achieving the ambitions, improvement and success. He praised the role of all the players for the efforts exerted, particularly Adel Al-Ghareeb - Captain of the team whose international expertise had a positive part in realizing the championship title.

On his part, the Head of the Delegation Mr. Bader Al-Kous praised the great results achieved by “Kuwait Airways” Team, and commended the limitless support presented by the officials at the Corporation, which had an immense impact on the realization of the World Title by “Kuwait Airways” Team.

It is worth mentioning that “Kuwait Airways” Team had attained the title following its win on the Singapore Airlines’ Team by 4/3 score in the final match. The ranking of the teams came out as follows: Kuwait Airways in First Position, Singapore Airline in Second Position, Emirates Airline in Third Position, Cathy Pacific in Fourth Position, while British Airways, Qatar Airline and Australian Airline realized the positions from Fifth until Eighth respectively.
