ASIAN TOUR: BUCKLE MISSES THE CUT IN US Q-SCHOOL FINALS

/noticias.info/ Australia’s Andrew Buckle missed the mark when he completed the sixth and final round in 42nd position in the US PGA Tour Qualifying School Finals on Tuesday.

Buckle, who is sixth in the Asian Tour Order Of Merit table, carded his third consecutive one-under-par 71 bringing a six-day total to 423. The best outing for the 23-year-old was in day three when he achieved a 68 prior to his back-to-back 71 carded in the first two rounds.

Only the top 32 golfers and ties will earn their Tour cards for the 2006 season.

Korea’s Hur Suk-ho shot up 11 spots as he settled in 54th position when he achieved five birdies and three bogeys on the final round and finished on 425.

Lin Wen-tang of Chinese Taipei slipped to 141st spot when he scored a 75 in the final round to a total of 441.

But it was a fantastic end for Japan’s Daisuke Maruyama who struck an impressive 68. With a total of 416, the Japanese booked his Tour card when he finished tied seventh alongside Michael Allen. notas_de_prensa_archivo
