EU: Press briefing on Strasbourg plenary session

/noticias.info/ - A press briefing on the main events of media interest at next week's Strasbourg plenary session will take place at 11am on Friday 9 December in Room PHS 0A50, European Parliament, Brussels. Parliament's spokesman and the spokespersons of the main political groups will review the coming week's events.


Highlights of the session include a vote on the retention of telecoms data and a debate on the alleged CIA detention centres in Europe. MEPs will also discuss the upcoming EU summit and vote at second reading on the 2006 budget. This year's Sakharov Prize will be presented to the winners.
