LIVERPOOL FC: STEVIE G: THIS IS BEST TEAM I HAVE PLAYED IN

/noticias.info/ Captain Steven Gerrard firmly believes the good times are back at Anfield under Rafael Benitez and he feels this is the best Liverpool team he has played in since graduating from the Academy to the first team.

Gerrard and his Liverpool team-mates crave more success and he would love to lead the Reds to glory in the FIFA Club World Championship final in Japan on Sunday.

"These are exciting times for Liverpool and I would go as far as to say this is the best Liverpool team I have played in," enthused Gerrard.

"This is a team that is littered with exciting young players. We have a good mixture of local lads together with some excellent foreign players and we look forward to every game we play. We fear nobody and we are still improving."

The Reds midfield dynamo knows that with success comes more games but he certainly doesn't want any rest from a hectic schedule, in fact he wants more games.

"It's very exciting and not daunting, the amount of games," Gerrard added. "We have a lot of games ahead but I want to play in as many games as possible because it means we are doing well.

"I'm still a young lad and the amount of games doesn't worry me at all, in fact I'm very excited and the more games the better." notas_de_prensa_archivo
