EVERTON: WE DESERVED TO WIN

/noticias.info/ David Moyes believes Everton should have left Millwall having booked a place in the FA Cup fourth round.

The Blues face a replay at Goodison against David Tuttle's Champsionship strugglers following a 1-1 draw at the New Den.

It needed a second half equaliser from Leon Osman to cancel out Marvin Williams first-half opener.

But the Everton boss believes his side did enough in the game to win the tie.

A host of good chances were squandered during a strong second half performance, ensuring Millwall were able to hold on for a draw.

Moyes said: "I thought we deserved to win the game and obviously missed chances to do so but Millwall did put us under pressure at times in the first half. We started well but they came into the game in the last 20 minutes of the first half.

"We gifted them a poor goal and gave them someting to hang on to. We knew it was going to be a tough game and that is how it turned out.

"It was a terrific game. Pitches are never the best but there was a big atmosphere and it ended up a good game." notas_de_prensa_archivo
