NFL: Super Bowl XL Seahawks Ticket Lottery

/noticias.info/ The Seahawks announced Sunday night that 75 percent of the team’s Super Bowl XL ticket allotment will be available to season ticket holders through a lottery system.

All Seahawks full season ticket holders are automatically eligible for the ticket lottery. Each season ticket holder that is selected will have the option to purchase two Super Bowl XL tickets.

The lottery will be “weighted” so that each season ticket account will receive one entry for each of the following factors:
Each year of support as a season ticket holder

Each full season ticket held in 2005

For example, if a person has held two season tickets for 30 seasons, that person will receive 32 entries into the lottery. They will receive two entries for their 2005 season tickets and 30 entries for their 30 years of loyalty.

The lottery will be held Sunday night, January 22. Season ticket holders will be notified Monday, January 23 and Tuesday, January 24, and will have until Thursday at 7 p.m. to pick up and pay for their tickets at the Qwest Field Box Office.

The cost of the pair of Super Bowl XL tickets to be played in Detroit on Sunday, February 5, is $1,240.00.
