PGA TOUR: Chat with a Champ: Kim Felton

Editor's note: Kim Felton was making his 13th start on the Nationwide Tour at last year's Knoxville Open . But it was hardly a case of triskaidekaphobia as Felton rolled in a 10-foot birdie putt to earn the victory. Felton, who will defend his title this week, sat down recently with PGA TOUR media official John Bush for another edition of "Chat with a Champ."

PGATOUR.com: What is your favorite PGA TOUR memory as a kid?
FELTON: I'll never forget watching Jack Nicklaus win the 1986 Masters.

PGATOUR.com: Who would be in your dream foursome?
FELTON: I'd play with my dad, my brother and St. Louis Cardinal Albert Pujols.

PGATOUR.com: What is your idea of a perfect day?
FELTON: Golf with friends followed by a cold beer

PGATOUR.com: What was your first job?
FELTON: Fork-lift driver and I was pretty good at it, too.

PGATOUR.com: Name the last non-golf sporting event you attended?
FELTON: An Australian Rules football game earlier this year.

PGATOUR.com: What was the last concert you attended?
FELTON: I went to see Midnight Oil in Australia back in 1995.

PGATOUR.com: What is your favorite beverage?
FELTON: Coca-Cola

PGATOUR.com: Your favorite candy bar?
FELTON: Snickers

PGATOUR.com: What is your proudest moment?
FELTON: Winning the Knoxville Open last year.

PGATOUR.com: How many television sets do you have in your house?
FELTON: Believe it or not, just one.

PGATOUR.com: Name the television show you can't miss.
FELTON: There are about 10 of them, but if I had to narrow it down I'd say Laguna Beach or the Simpsons.

PGATOUR.com: Is there one restaurant in a tournament city you have to visit every year?
FELTON: In-n-Out Burger when we are on the West Coast.

PGATOUR.com: What is the approximate number of golf clubs you have in your house?
FELTON: At least 200-plus.

PGATOUR.com: What is your specialty as a chef?
FELTON: I have none. Probably Caesar salad (laughing).

PGATOUR.com: Name your favorite golf course.
FELTON: St. Andrews

PGATOUR.com: What is your favorite golf hole?
FELTON: No. 12 at the Augusta National

PGATOUR.com: What is the best shot of your career?
FELTON: The 10-footer I made on the last hole to win in Knoxville.

PGATOUR.com: When was the last time you bought a golf ball?
FELTON: Probably five years ago.

PGATOUR.com: What is your favorite sporting event?
FELTON: The World Series, especially if the Cardinals are playing in it.

PGATOUR.com: Who would you buy a ticket to watch?
FELTON: U2

PGATOUR.com: Pizza or hamburger?
FELTON: Hamburger

PGATOUR.com: Is there one vegetable you will not eat?
FELTON: Cauliflower, most definitely.

PGATOUR.com: How many pairs of shoes do you have in your closet?
FELTON: 15. I'm a woman (laughing).

PGATOUR.com: What is your favorite movie?
FELTON: Old School

PGATOUR.com: What is your highest bowling score?
FELTON: 170

PGATOUR.com: Have you ever successfully hit the ball-picking car on the driving range?
FELTON: Yes, many times.

PGATOUR.com: If you were in the batter's box facing Randy Johnson, would you at least foul off one of his fastballs?
FELTON: Absolutely. I'd at least get the bat on the ball.

PGATOUR.com: If you played Shaquille O'Neal one-on-one to 20, would you score a basket?
