FORMULA 1 - RENAULT: Living the dream

/noticias.info/ Last weekend in Germany, René Gravendyk got the chance to join the Renault F1 Team for a dream weekend.

For the fourth time this season, the Renault F1 Team welcomed a Renault employee to its ranks at the German GP, giving him the experience of a lifetime throughout the race weekend.

René Gravendyk was selected as Renault’s best technician in Germany, and so last weekend, he got the chance to swap his usual overalls for the blue and yellow uniform of the Renault F1 Team – and become a fully-fledged member of the team.

He learned about how the team works, conducted pit-stops practice with the mechanics, helped prepare the cars on the grid… René soon found his niche within the team as he got a privileged backstage look at how Renault prepares for a Grand Prix.

It was a fantastic opportunity, and just reward for a valued Renault employee.

The Renault F1 Team will continue the programme this weekend with a colleague from Renault Hungary.
