UEFA: Isaksson to sign for Man City

Sweden goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson is reported to have signed a three-year contract with English Premiership club Manchester City FC.

"I grew up with the Premier League, it feels good," said Isaksson, who moves from French side Stade Rennais FC where he played 62 games in two seasons. Manchester City are thought to be paying €3m for Isaksson, who is his country's first-choice keeper and appeared in three of Sweden's four matches at the FIFA World Cup finals. The 24-year-old will replace the Portsmouth FC-bound English international David James at City.
