AC MILAN: GOALS WILL ARRIVE

Adriano Galliani spoke to Milan Channel about Gilardino, Ronaldinho, the FIFA World Player and much more.

/noticias.info/ Adriano Galliani has promised that Milan will return to goalscoring ways and insists there is nothing to be concerned about: 'I understand the criticism after the last few matches, but I also want to highlight the fact that we scored two goals that were disallowed unjustly. Furthermore, in the match with Siena their goalkeeper was the best player on the pitch – that means that we created several scoring occasions and that is an important fact. There are moments in football when you just can’t seem to score, this is one of those moments. The same goes for Alberto Gilardino who just missed the post against Lens and hit the bar against Siena.'

Then a discussion on Ronaldinho: 'We do to others what we would want them to do to us. Ronaldinho is under all aspects a Barcelona player and that is what he will remain and we don't want to cause any problems. Barcelona have no intention of selling him and there have been no negotiations.'

Galliani maintained there were five Milan players in the running for FIFA World Player: 'I count Shevchenko because he was one up until June 30. It's no coincidence that most of the shortlist are from the Italian, Spanish and English leagues. We'll talk about it nearer the time.

In closing, a word about Milan players coming off international duty to play in the league and Champions League: 'Milan were not worried about their players being called up. We understand the fixture list, it's intense and we accept it. Milan and Inter are playing on different days in the Champions League and it was just coincidence that our game soon after the Georgia match.' notas_de_prensa_archivo
