AJAX: Good launch of 'I am Ajacied' campaign

Prior to the match Ajax - PSV, the campaign 'I am Ajacied' was launched. It provided the Ajax players with a boost to start the first half, but unfortunately PSV went home with the points.

/noticias.info/ The stadium looked very impressive when the players entered the pitch prior to the match. The 22 heroes walked through a line of balloons and the terraces were coloured red and white. On the long side the words 'I am Ajacied', made through a paper choreography, could be seen.

Before the players took the field, the supporters had seen short films on the stadium screens in which well-known Ajax men explain what it means to them to be 'Ajacied'. When the fans had taken their places, they found a red or white poster on their seat. With on one side what it means to be 'Ajacied'.

The text was as followst: Being Ajacied is more than cheering when Ajax score. It goes much deeper. It's a way of life. A way of looking at things and a way to deal with things. An Ajacied loves life. But a life with grandeur, a life in which there is action. And that action can be spectacular. An Ajacied loves beauty. Beautiful things. Things have to have a special charisma, you have to be able to look at them with pleasure. To an Ajacied, winning alone is not enough, it's in the way that you do it. And that is with dominant, daring and attacking football. With beautiful football therefore. An Ajacied is self-assured, sometimes even bold. He knows what he stands for and is proud of that. He often tries to convince others that he's right. Sometimes even against better judgement, but you hardly blame him for that.

Because anAjacied always treats people with respect: not only the like-minded, also poeple who have another opinion or vision of life, in short, those who are not Ajacied . An Ajacied is involved is society and he is honest and sportsmanlike. Both in daily life and on and around the pitch. But most of all an Ajacied is ambitious and a winner. He cannot stand losing. He will always try to realise his goals. With guts and creativity. And with great perseverance. Often, for an Ajacied , the best is not good enough. With Ajax, an Ajacied has an almost inexplicable love and connection. He strives, together with the club and all other 'Ajacieden' for the highest. An Ajacied thinks red, thinks white. Dreams red, dreams white. Cheers red, cheers white. Cries red, cries white. And he always supports his club. Also when the going gets tough.
