PSV: Meet Xiang and Ji Sun

/noticias.info/ 24-year-old Chinese twins Xiang and Ji Sun will start their two-week trial with PSV this Friday afternoon, when they join Anton Janssen’s Young PSV squad for training at De Herdgang training ground. PSV Media had an exclusive interview with them this morning.

"Greatly honoured to be here"
It is exactly eleven o’ clock when Xiang and Ji, in the company of their agent, enter the lobby of the hotel at the appointed time. The Chinese twin brothers are outgoing, polite and speak pretty good English. A great many people in China feel for the twins, who consider the huge media interest from China as an extra incentive. "We want to show our capacities. We have been looking forward to being handed this trial. It was prepared six months ago. PSV are one of the G14 clubs in Europe and we feel greatly honoured to be here. Everybody in China knows PSV. We have known them for years. They are the best club in Holland and are enjoying a great reputation in China."

Asiatic mentality
Xiang (left back) and his brother Ji (right back) explain in their hotel in the heart of the city that they have only one goal for the next two weeks: secure permanent contracts in Holland. As to Asiatic discipline and fighting spirit: Xiang and Ji could certainly bear comparison with Ji-Sung Park and Young-Pyo Lee. " Chinese players also work their socks off for the full 90 minutes. We would fit in any team. The level of the Korean league is higher than of the Chinese league and the Korean national team is better than ours, but we want to prove that Chinese players can also reach a high level."

Strong points
When asked to describe his strong points as a football player, Xiang replied that he "can deliver fine crosses, unleash powerful shots and read the game." The left back is a left-footed defender. Ji is full of praise for his brother’s pace and passes. "We want to show our skills here, get on together well with the players and do anything to be successful. This is a great opportunity for us and for Chinese football as a whole. Our first impressions of Eindhoven are favorable, but we cannot wait to be on the pitch."
Xiang and Ji will not have to wait long, for they will join the Young PSV squad for training this Friday afternoon. While Chinese media representatives are pouring in, the popular twins will take the first step to ensure a prolonged stay in Eindhoven. notas_de_prensa_archivo
