FOOTBALL EUROPE: Reggina win back points on appeal

/noticias.info/ Reggina Calcio have had their 15-point deduction, handed out in the wake of the Italian match-fixing scandal last summer, reduced to eleven points on appeal by the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI).

CONI's court of arbitration announced the decision today, which will lift Reggina off the bottom of Serie A. The southern side, one of a number of clubs to be punished by July's sports tribunal, will move up to nine points from 15 games, three more than Ascoli Calcio 1898. notas_de_prensa_archivo
