INTER: PAOLILLO: "CONFIDENCE IN OUR TEAM"

/noticias.info/ MILAN - Inter managing director and chief operating officer Ernesto Paolillo was interviewed by SkyItalia after today's Champions League round of sixteen draw at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Nerazzurri came out of the hat against Valencia in the Champions League round of sixteen draw. Your opponents have a good team with an excellent attack that has scored many goals.
"We know they have a very strong attack. Let's hope they've used up all their goals."

Are Valencia an easier opponent than the other teams you could have faced?
"There wasn't much to choose from because all the remaining teams are very strong and formidable opponents. Inter have positive memories of the Mestalla. The last one was two years ago, with Mancini in charge of the team. On that occasion Inter played a splendid match (Valencia 1-5 Inter). But I don't want to be too euphoric: we must face the match with great concentration."

With their results in the championship, Inter are probably one of the big favourites to win the Champions League. Chelsea coach Mourinho said so in these past days. In terms of quality, you certainly look better than Valencia.
"Without being too cocky or confident, we know we can do it. But we know we have a great coach in Roberto Mancini and a great team that is yielding the fruits of the excellent job done. We must unite awareness with substance to get the result. We still remember last season's tie with Villarreal. It has to be a completely different story this year." notas_de_prensa_archivo
