AC MILAN: WE BELIEVE IN OURSELVES
The Rossoneri champions comment on the draw with Fiorentina
/noticias.info/ DARIO SIMIC
All in all, the draw is positive. We fought until the end, it’s too bad about their second goal. We started well and it’s perfectly normally at the moment for a team to suffer against Fiorentina. I repeat, the second goal on the counter-attack was a really pity. Now, we must look ahead. There are still two more games before the break. We must believe in ourselves because this team can reach the goal of fourth place. We can’t change things in two days. We have many injured players and we didn't undergo pre-season training. So, it’s pretty much normal that we aren’t playing as we should. But I believe that after the break, once get a bit of extra fuel in our legs, things will change.
KAKHA KALADZE
I don’t want to talk about referees. If I did touch the ball, then I didn’t do it on purpose. It was Toni and I, and the ball ended up hitting my arm. In the end, we demonstrated our character and we drew. We must try to win the next two games, then after the break we will restart the league with a changed manner. There are some players that aren’t at 100% and some that have more problems, but there aren’t many of us left and we must put up with it. They did well with their goal on the counter-attack, three against three.
ALBERTO GILARDINO
I am happy that I scored twice. I am doing well. I am alive, just like Milan. The draw obtained at the end means that we believed until the end. We are there as far as attitude goes and we believe in ourselves, we must continue along this mental line. I was happy. I always have faith. A striker lives from goal to goal and so he must make sacrifices for the team. Scoring on two out of three opportunities is good and we just have to stay calm. Kakà and I work well together and you can see that on the field. I am used to playing in different ways at Milan and to doing whatever the coach tells me to do. notas_de_prensa_archivo
