FOOTBALL EUROPE: Turkish duo make coaching changes
/noticias.info/ Turkish Süper Lig strugglers Rizespor and Sakaryaspor are turning to new coaches with both sides in relegation danger at the halfway point of the season.
Çalımbay agreement
Rizespor, in 15th and just one place and point above the three-team relegation zone, have agreed personal terms with Rıza Çalımbay after sacking Safet Sušić last night following Sunday's 3-1 Turkish Cup loss at Beşiktaş JK. Çalımbay, who has been without a club since leaving Ankaraspor last season, is expected to sign a contract imminently for a second spell at Rizespor, whom he left in 2004/05 to join the side where he spent his playing career, Beşiktaş.
Sakaryaspor reappoint Bulak
Meanwhile second bottom Sakaryaspor have also turned to a former coach, Giray Bulak who, as is the case with Çalımbay at Rizespor, replaces a Bosnian in the shape of Nedžad Bijedić. Bulak, who has also taken charge of Rizespor, Vanspor, Elazigspor, Trabzonspor, Denizlispor and Ankaraspor AS. Sakaryaspor vice president Rıdvan Duran said: "We thought it was an advantage to have a coach who already knows the club well." notas_de_prensa_archivo
