/noticias.info/ Greek league leaders Olympiacos CFP have signed right-back Vassilios Torosidis from Skoda Xanthi FC in a part-exchange deal for defender Athanasios Kostoulas.

Part-exchange deal
The Piraeus side have paid a reported €800,000 fee for the 21-year-old, who can also play as a central defender or defensive midfielder, in addition to allowing Kostoulas - who joined Olympiacos from Kalamata FC back in 1999 - to move to Xanthi. The deal will be officially completed on 3 January.

Promising youngster
A Greek Under-21 international, Torosidis has played in 73 league games for Xanthi since making his debut in October 2003, scoring three goals. Kostoulas played 121 league games for Olympiacos, scoring once. Olympiacos are five points clear of AEK Athens FC at the top of the table. notas_de_prensa_archivo
