The Penguins (15-13-5) have won four of their last six games. However, they have dropped their last two contests. The team returns to Atlanta, where it produced an exciting 4-3 overtime win on Dec. 9. That win sparked a four-game spree before the Penguins fell in Montreal on Saturday and at home against St. Louis on Tuesday.
Sidney Crosby continues to lead the NHL scoring with 53 points (16+37). He has recorded at least one point in his last nine games and racked up 21 points (6+15) over that span.
Penguins center Evgeni Malkin continues to lead all rookies in scoring. He has 33 points (17+26) in 29 games, while Los Angeles forward Anze Kopitar has 31 points (10+21) in 35 games. Malkin has points (2+1) in his last three games.
Following the contest, the Penguins are off for four days before returning to action Tuesday in New Jersey. notas_de_prensa_archivo
