GOLF: PGA TOUR OF AUSTRALASIA: Hall wins Q-School, Draper gets card
/noticias.info/ Victorian Ashley Hall has held on to win the Australasia PGA Tour Qualifying School on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula.
Hall signed off with a final round of 76, but still prevailed by two shots after an excellent first two rounds and an even-par third round.
Queensland amateur Paul Donahoo moved into a share of second place with a final round of 71, while Victoria's Adam Porker's even-par effort also saw him finish on four-under.
Dean Kinney and Brad Lamb were in equal fourth, with Kinney carding a 72 and Lamb a 73. Anthony Brown finished sixth on two-under, while Ben Burge, Brendan Chant and Henry Epstein finished equal ninth.
All of those players have secured their spots on the 2007 Australasian Tour, as well as 29 others. Among the others were former tennis professional Scott Draper, who finished equal 35th on eight-over, getting through by just one shot. notas_de_prensa_archivo
