AC MILAN: WELL DONE EVERYONE
Daniele Bonera was full of praise for his team-mates for the way they played at Udine.
/noticias.info/ DANIELE BONERA missed the trip to Udine due to suspension but the defender spoke on Milan Channel after the victory over Udinese:
It was a good game and we interpreted it well. We wanted to continue winning and we closed 2006 well. Lately things are going pretty well. We faced three teams that weren’t that easy, but the victory on Wednesday against Catania reinforced our conviction that we are strong.
Today, Pirlo did really well playing in defence. For us it was important to put 2006 behind us, we have had many injuries and I am hoping no one else gets injured next year.
We are coming out of a bit of a dark period, but after these victories we can be a bit more relaxed with better morale as we work over the break. Before departing for Malta, each one of us will have four sessions, but they are not mandatory. If a player wants to come up to Milanello and practice he is welcome to, otherwise he can relax with his family. No problem, it is up to him. We are all aware that we must make sacrifices.
Alberto Gilardino is one of my best friends, in addition to being a great player. When he felt alone I took care of him and I’m happy that he is playing well, but we must say that the whole team are playing well.
Ancelotti has helped us a lot as well. He explained that these were two delicate games and that we needed to win come rain or shine. It wasn’t easy to play in an emergency situation, but he worked with us at a mental level. notas_de_prensa_archivo
