AC MILAN: FRIENDS REUNITED
Cristian Brocchi and Rino Gatturo are friends off the pitch and their spirit on it is driving Milan forward.
/noticias.info/ The C-Side is a club founded by three friends: Cristian Brocchi, Rino Gatturo and Christian Abbiati. Same team, same spirit and for Rino and Brocchi, room-mates for the pre-match build-up. They are friends that share an unbroken spirit that goes beyond a simple matter of distance created when one of your best friends is loaned to another club.
Abbiati is now at Torino, playing for a team that is doing well despite a slow start to the season, but the other two of this band are back together after Brocchi's return from Florence in the summer. It looked as if they would have little playing time together after Gattuso picked up what seemed like a serious knee injury at Atalanta at the beginning of November, but the pair have been reunited and are running the Milan engine-room for Carlo Ancelotti's side after Rino's speedy return to fitness.
The Rossoneri's recent good form is down in no small part to the work-rate of these two chums. With Andrea Pirlo pulling the strings in the centre of the pitch, Rino and Cristian have been able to get into more advanced positions and it was the latter who played the ball through for Alberto Gilardino to score his first goal in the 2-2 draw at Fiorentina and did the same for Ricardo Oliveira's strike against Udinese while the former played a part in Gila's goal against Catania.
The partnership will be broken up again for the first Serie A game back after the break as Gattuso is suspended for the Reggina match but there is still plenty of time to show what they can do and no doubt Cristian will be doing the work of two in the meantime. notas_de_prensa_archivo
