EVERTON FC: BOSS' CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
/noticias.info/ I would like to wish every Evertonian a very Merry Christmas.
We have a game to look forward to at Goodison tomorrow against Middlesbrough and we are working hard to ensure we give you a positive result to provide added cause to celebrate Christmas.
You have been terrific to everybody at Goodison in my time here at the club. I would just like to say a big thankyou for all the support that has been given to me. I am working hard to repay that great support and We are doing everything we can to bring the good days back.
I hope to have a team you will be proud of very shortly.
It is a normal training day here at Bellefield today but it is a small price to pay when you work in football.
Boxing Day fixtures have been part of football for as long as I can remember. I can remember going watching Boxing Day games as a boy and it was what you looked forward to on Christmas Day.
As a player and a manager we would all want it changed probably because it means we are working and our families suffer a little bit - but it is a small sacrifice.
There are lots of other people who work on Christmas Day - you only have to think of the nurses and doctors we went to see at Alder Hey last week for our annual gift-giving visit.
We are fully aware we are in a privileged position and our number one goal at all times is to give something back to the great supporters that make this such a wonderful club. notas_de_prensa_archivo
