First-half
Kick-off Chelsea.
1 Effort Lampard pushed his stetched shot just wide after Kalou has flicked to rampaging Geremi who passes forward to Drogba who flicks to his captain, Great play.
3 Warning Carvalho slides in on Little who has got round Bridge along the goal-line after Murty has been allowed an unchallenged cross and Bridge has had to defend against two on his side. It's the game's first corner.
12 Chance Drogba, having just been flagged offside when he was on, gets through the Reading defence following a fine run and pass from Shevchenko, but is foiled by the quickly advancing Hahnemann who dives swiftly at his feet to block.
13 Effort Kalou dances past two challenges in the penalty are and fires a drive just over the near diagonal.
28 Header Drogba climbs above the Reading defence to Lampard's inswinging free-kick but his downward header is well turned away by Hahnemann for Chelsea's second corner. Reading have had two.
32 Chance Drogba moves behind the Reading defence on to Geremi's long pass and chests it down but before he can shoot Hahnemann can intercept.
36 Shot Drogba takes Lampard's pass, turns out then in and drills a shot through Sonko's legs which deflects off the defender's heel and goes just the wrong side of the post for a corner.
37 GOAL Drogba climbs above the advancing Hahnemann and Sonko to Lampard's inswinging corner and heads it just over the line before Shorey on the far post can kick away. He celebrates with a donkey impression as the Reading crowd were chanting 'Ee-aw' at him a minute earlier. 1-0.
41 Header Drogba magnificently powers a defensive header away - there have been many by him already - after a Reading free-kick has left Geremi one against two and the cross has come in unchallenged.

Kick-off Reading.
54 Escape Little's unchallenged cross is deflected across his six yard box by Carvalho just past Lita and beyond Hilario for Reading's third corner of the half. It's been a poor start to the second period.
56 Escape Sidwell fires a 20 yarder fractionally outside Hilario's right-hand diagonal with the goalkeeper beaten.
57 Chelsea substitution Wright-Phillips for Shevchenko. Wright-Phillips goes to the right and Kalou to the left.
66 GOAL Lita heads in unchallenged from close range after Lampard has failed to outpace Harper and Murty has sped away to feed Little who cuts inside Kalou and crosses. It is Reading's first effort on target. 1-1.

Comment Boulahrouz and Makelele are left out of the squad, Robben is suffering with a tight hamstring. Cech, Cudicini, Terry and Joe Cole continue to be injured. Chelsea are just not tight enough defensively at the moment and for the third League game running since Terry's injury concede two goals. Following Reading's second, there are no real breakthroughs.
