GOLF: PGA: Major tag irks Lawrie

/noticias.info/ Paul Lawrie has urged his fellow Europeans to bring an end to their barren run in Majors in 2007.

The 37-year-old Scot was the last European to win one of golf's four top tournaments with his stunning British Open triumph at Carnoustie in 1999.

He told the Daily Mirror: "I don't like the tag of being the last European to win a Major. I'm sick of it and want to see our boys winning Majors this year." notas_de_prensa_archivo
