PSV: Friday morning training ahead of clash with Excelsior

/noticias.info/ Ahead of the UEFA Champions League Cup draw in Athens, the players, still feeling elated with Wednesday’s great result, were back on the training pitch to prepare for Sunday’s league game against Excelsior. The squad trained at De Herdgang training complex, but a few players were on the treatment table.

Gomes, Koné and Cocu stayed inside, while the other squad members trained on the pitch, with assistant coaches Jan Wouters, Tonny Bruins Slot and goalkeeping coach Joop Hiele taking charge. PSV trained for the first time since reaching the Champions League quarter finals. Another session is scheduled for tomorrow, ahead of Sunday afternoon’s Eredivisie game against Excelsior in Rotterdam.
