ARSENAL: Fran Merida signs professional terms

/noticias.info/ Fran Merida has signed professional terms with Arsenal.

The skilful Spanish midfielder arrived at the Club in the summer of 2006, after previously playing in Barcelona’s youth set-up, and has made seven appearances for the Reserves this season.

The 17-year-old hit a great goal on his debut at Boreham Wood last summer. He repeated the feat in his Reserve team bow against Tottenham Hotspur.

Merida has made two appearances in the FA Youth Cup this season and helped Steve Bould’s Under-18s to top spot in the Academy League with three goals in 11 appearances.

He was also an unused substitute for the first team in the Carling Cup tie at Everton in November. notas_de_prensa_archivo
