LIVERPOOL FC: BLACKWELL: WE HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE

Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell claims his side have nothing to lose when they face Liverpool in the FA Cup third round tie at Kenilworth Road on Sunday.

/noticias.info/ The Hatters are currently fourth from bottom in the League One table having had 10 points deducted back in November for going into administration.

Despite off-field uncertainty Blackwell insists confidence in the camp is high and said his players can't wait to face Rafael Benitez's team.

"We have got nothing to lose," said Blackwell. "If we win it will be a phenomenal achievement and if we lose then everyone thought it would be the case.

"In that respect, the pressure is not on Luton, but what we have to do is put as much pressure as we can on Liverpool.

"All we can do is keep playing the same way we have been. We have looked good in recent weeks and our cup form has been good. If we can continue to play the way we have been playing then the lads will put on a good show.

"If it wasn't for our 10-point deduction we'd be three points off the play-offs. We got to within three minutes of the quarter finals of the Caring Cup, and we are in the last 32 of the FA Cup. We've actually had a great season. It just feels like a disaster." notas_de_prensa_archivo
