LIVERPOOL FC: TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR SHANKLY TRIBUTE

Tickets are still available for the tribute show to celebrate the life of Bill Shankly at Liverpool's Mountford Hall in Mount Pleasant on Saturday (March 1).

/noticias.info/ The Bill Shankly story features local broadcaster John Keith and Kenneth Cope who will be teaming up once again to present an on stage tribute to the former Liverpool manager.

The show, written and produced by John Keith, also features Liverpool legends Ron Yeats, Ian St John and Chris Lawler.

Cope will be the narrator as he traces Shanks' story from his Scottish roots through his playing career and on to his remarkable transformation of Liverpool FC's fortunes. Keith will be speaking the words of Shankly on stage and it is a show that is a must for Liverpool fans of all ages.

The show first aired at Bootle Town Hall in 2006 and received fantastic acclaim. Keith and Cope have also taken the show on tour to Norway and they are delighted to bring it back again.

Academia is hosting this show at the invitation of the students at the University of Liverpool. It is a special production as part of the Liverpool Guild of Students contribution to the city's Capital of Culture celebrations.

Admission price is £10 and you can purchase the tickets on the door from 6.30pm. The show starts at 7.30pm. notas_de_prensa_archivo
