AC MILAN: PRIDE AND WILL
Against Lazio, Milan confirm the difficulties of this last period. Massimo Oddo remedies for Bianchi's goal, but the rossoneri must make do with the injuries of Seedorf, Emerson, and Jankulovski
/noticias.info/ MILAN - Ahead of the match against Lazio Adriano Galliani launched the alarm: "We are too tired, we have played 13 matches in 40 days."
More or less the same concept which the pitch confirmed once again: Milan are not in a good condition. Fortunately this time Massimo Oddo answered Bianchi's goal, but above all the former Lazio player managed to prevent that the pre-match of Milan-Arsenal would become very unpleasant.
The match against Lazio was played by the rossoneri with a slow rhythm of play which had very few highlights. The capital club played with a new attacking threesome of Pandev, Rocchi, and Bianchi, and in the second half they put pressure on Gattuso and team mates for at least the first 15 minutes. Fortunately Milan are also made of pride and reactive power, two weapons which allowed Milan to avoid suffering Lazio's manouevres too much. As said, Massimo Oddo's penalty prevented that the game would be played in only one direction, breaking Lazio's dominance.
The rossoneri's precarious conditions was not seen automatically in their football, in fact Milan played the last part of the game well, but the many injuries are influencing the matches and the choices made by Carlo Ancelotti.
The match against Lazio has left its scars. Seedorf, Emerson, and Jankulovski were forced to leave the pitch notas_de_prensa_archivo
