EVERTON FC: JAMES IS NO.1!
/noticias.info/ David Moyes reckons David James is the Premier League's top keeper.
The Portsmouth stopper recently regained the England gloves after consistently impressive season with his club.
And despite being 37 years old, Moyes believes there's no better keeper currently plying their trade in England's top tier.
Indeed, the Everton boss finds himself tasked with trying to find a way past James on Sunday.
Moyes told evertonfc.com: "David James has probably been the outstanding goalkeeper in the country. He has matured with age and his goalkeeping has got better.
"He will be very hard to beat, that's for sure. He's someone who gives them a steadying influence at the back and they trust him."
Indeed, Moyes sees James as the epitome of the quality of player assembled by Harry Redknapp during his current tenure at Fratton Park.
"His teams have been very good," said the Blues boss. "He has had his moments but I think he would say now he has got a really good Portsmouth side, full of international players.
"They are strong and they spent in the window to improve their squad again.
"They are doing well and I don't think they have been out the top six or eight all season and that is credit to them.
"They will be looking to try and beat us to try and move up the table." notas_de_prensa_archivo
