FOOTBALL EUROPE: Hamburg profit from Guerrero artistry

Level at the start of the day, Hamburg moved three points clear of Leverkusen thanks to a 4-1 win at home to Eintracht Frankfurt. Guerrero broke the deadlock after five minutes and the hosts looked to be cruising when Nigel de Jong doubled their advantage before the hour. Sotirios Kyrgiakos pulled one back for the visitors with 20 minutes remaining, but goals from Guerrero (79) and Mohamed Zidan (83) sealed the points for Hamburg.
Bochum joy
HSV are now seven Bundesliga matches unbeaten, and three points clear in third after Leverkusen slipped to a 2-0 defeat away to Bochum.
