Three-goal burst
Wendell went into the game at Stade Chaban-Delmas scrabbling for form, without a goal in 13 games after a barren run stretching back to the start of December – but he ended the wait in spectacular style. The 25-year-old broke the deadlock on 33 minutes and, his drought ended, the floodgates opened as PSG were swept aside. He made it 2-0 four minutes after the restart and quickly completed his hat-trick with a third moments later as Bordeaux moved back to within three points of Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais.
