UEFA CUP: Amrabat delighted with PSV move

/noticias.info/ PSV Eindhoven have signed attacking midfielder Nordin Amrabat on a four-year contract from VVV-Venlo for an undisclosed fee.

'Dream club'
The 20-year-old Netherlands Under-21 international will join the Dutch champions on 1 July 2008 and will remain under contract until 30 June 2012. "It has all gone very fast for me," he said. "Only two seasons ago I was playing with the FC Omniworld amateurs. VVV had already reached an agreement with SC Heerenveen, but when PSV came along I didn't have to think about it for long. PSV are a dream club to me and I'm very happy I will be playing there in the coming seasons."


Step up
Amrabat signed for VVV in the summer and quickly adjusted to the step up in class, scoring eight times in 27 Eredivisie matches this term. League leaders PSV are away to Tottenham Hotspur FC in the first leg of their UEFA Cup Round of 16 tie on Thursday. notas_de_prensa_archivo
