5 CHELSEA GOAL Ballack gets his head onto the end of a Lampard cross and smashes the ball into the back of the net.

9 Foul Ballack is knocked to the ground 25 yards out from goal, the free-kick leads to a scramble in the box before Olympiacos clear the ball from danger.

18 Shot Drogba collects a J Cole cross into the box but his first touch sends the ball high over the bar as the Ivorian finds himself under pressure.

20 Shot Makelele forces Blues fans to the edges of their seats as he fires a shot goal ward from 20 yards out only for Nikopolidis to collect his attempt comfortably.

25 CHELSEA GOAL Lampard makes it two after Nikopolidis fails to gather a Ballack shot and the ball rebounds into the path of the number 8 who taps the ball beyond the line for our second.

33 Shot J Cole tries his luck from 20 yards out after Terry breaks down the right and attempts to release Ballack on the edge of the box but the ball carries on into the path of J Cole.

35 Offside Kovacevic is caught offside on the edge of the Chelsea box.

41 Shot Kalou jumps high as he tries to connect with a cross from J Cole on the right, but, despite making contact, there is not enough power to keep the ball down and the shot flies over the bar.

53 Shot Lampard finds himself in enough space just inside the box after Drogba picks him out from a run, but the number 8's shot spins across the face og goal without troubling Nikopolidis.

Comment

The win against Olympiacos takes it to 60 games unbeaten in all competitions at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea played a convincing game, controlling possession throughout and comfortably securing our place in the nest round of the Champions League.

Didier Drogba made his 50th appearance in the European competition when he started against the Greek champions while Ricardo Carvalho made his 150th appearance for the Blues.

The 3-0 result means Chelsea have scored 7 goals in five days after their 4-0 thumping of West Ham on the weekend.
