Ex-Inter greats to play exhibition match

With these words during his speech at the ongoing Inter Club World Congress at Milan's Smeraldo theatre, president Massimo Moratti announced a centenary exhibition game involving some famous faces of Inter's past.

Entry to the match at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza (kick-off 15:00) is free. The gates will open at 14:00.

Who are the champions who will pull on the Inter shirt one more time? As in the best of traditions, teams are never announced on the eve of matches. What we can tell you is that it was the ex-players themselves who came up with the idea.

Many of them, when convoked for Saturday's parade around the pitch after Inter v Reggina, said: "Can't we play?"
