EVERTON FC: LADIES SAY THANKS

/noticias.info/ Everton Ladies manager Mo Marley has thanked all Evertonians following the League Cup triumph over Arsenal.

The Blues sealed an unexpected win over the Gunners last month courtesy of Amy Kane’s strike at the Matchroom Stadium.

And Marley admits she has been overwhelmed by the messages of support.

She told evertonfc.com: “The support and kind words we have received has been fantastic.

“My phone has not stopped ringing with people taking the time out to say congratulations. Everybody connected with Everton Ladies really appreciates it.”

Sunday’s Premier League fixture with Charlton Athletic at Marine has been cancelled following the Addicks’ involvement in a local County FA competition.

However the reserves will be in action on Sunday at Marine (kick-off 1pm), with first team regulars Amy Kane, Leanne Duffy and Kelly McDougall expecting to feature at College Road. notas_de_prensa_archivo
