INTER: CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Centenary celebrations in full swing
/noticias.info/ Inter's Centenary celebrations are in full swing following Saturday's the 2-0 win over Reggina.
Giacinto Facchetti's son Gianfelice kicked off the 100th anniversary party at the Stadio Meazza with an emotional poem about Inter's glorious history.
The festivities continued with a parade of the national flags of the players who have donned black and blue over the past century.
The spotlight then focused on newlyweds Che Ling and Mao Ran from Beijing - the first Chinese couple to celebrate their wedding in a western football stadium.
They brought with them an eight-metre long banner bearing 10,000 dedications and messages of goodwill from fans from all over China.
Italian singer songwriter Adriano Celentano continued the show with a rendition of Il Ragazzo della via Gluck. He was followed on to the pitch by Inter president Massimo Moratti, who was greeted with a rapturous applause.
The Curva Nord then displayed their stunning 100th anniversary choreography. Gabriele Salvatore's stunning Inter Campus documentary was projected before a parade of over 200 ex-Nerazzurri stars, much to the delight of Inter fans of all ages.
After the Meazza party the crowd made their way to Milan's Piazza Duomo for the Centenary cake-cutting ceremony.
What a night. Happy 100th birthday Inter. notas_de_prensa_archivo
