First-half.
Kick-off Barnsley
2 Danger Jamal Campbell-Ryce plays a smart ball into the Chelsea area and John terry is forced to clear the ball behind for an early corner.
7 Attack First corner for Chelsea as Wright-Phillips' cross is cut out. Belletti's corner ends up with Joe Cole, who sends his shot well over.
12 Clearance Belletti stretches to send the ball behind for another home corner. Had he not made it, the Barnsley forward Odejayi had a clear chance on goal.
15 Close Cole gets another chance after a corner is half cleared, and is volley this time is far closer, just missing the target.
17 Deflected Yet again Cole gets a look at goal from the edge of the area after Ballack's initial effort is blocked. His goalbound shot ricochets behind off a Barnsley defender.
21 Let off Cudicini goes unpunished as his clearance is charged down by Odejayi. The ball bounces inches wide after the Italian hesitated from a Terry clearance/pass back.
26 Chance Wright-Phillips lifts the ball up and over the crossbar after good interplay with Joe Cole down the right flank.
28 Denied Bridge sends an inviting cross into the Barnsley six-yard box, destined for the onrushing Cole, but Rob Kozluk dives and heads over the crossbar.
36 Let off A Barnsley free-kick from deep evades everybody but Istvan Ferenczi, who, with time, fires against the post and the ball goes behind for a goal kick. Seconds later Cudicini has to save smartly from Odejayi. It is a good spell for the home team.

Second-half
Kick-off Chelsea.
46 Thwarted Malouda looks set to break the deadlock after Cole had crossed deep toward the Frenchman, but Steele got a hand to the cross to palm it away. Seconds later Anelka touched the ball back to Cole, but Devaney intercepted before the Chelsea man could pull the trigger.
52 Encouraging Wright-Phillips feeds Anelka, who cuts in from the right and shoots. It isn't the best struck shot, but forces Steele into a save on an uneven surface.
53 Abused Kozluk fouls Joe Cole and becomes the first player booked.
56 Closest Chelsea have our best chance as Terry nods down Cole's cross to the feet of Anelka 10 yards out. The forward strikes well, but the shot is deflected over for a corner.
59 Inexplicable How Chelsea don't take the lead no one knows. Cole and Belletti link up superbly down the right, and the England man squares across the goalmouth. The ball evades a host of players and Barnsley clear.
61 Chelsea substitution Salomon Kalou enters the action in place of Florent Malouda on the left.
62 Cleared From a corner the ball drops at Anelka's feet but he gets the ball stuck and cannot get a proper shot away. The home team scramble the ball behind for a corner. Chelsea are in the ascendancy.
65 BARNSLEY GOAL Odejayi jumps above Cudicini to head home Devaney's cross. The winger had been given too much space by Bridge and Kalou in order to pick out his man at the far post.
72 Barnsley substitution Sam Togwell replaces Martin Devaney on Barnsley's right flank.
73 Chelsea substitution Claudio Pizarro is brought off the bench for Juliano Belletti. Chelsea revert to three at theback, and Pizarro moves into a four-man front line.
75 Miss Wright-Phillips gets into a shooting opportunity but skews is left-footed effort wide.
79 Barnsley substitution Kayode Odejayi is replaced by Michael Coulson as the home side look to hold on to their lead.
86 Chance Terry's long ball finds Pizarro who brings the ball down neatly, but the Peruvian finds his shot blocked by the stoic Barnsley defence. Time is running out for an equaliser.
89 Miss Terry shoots high from 12 yards and that could be the last chance of the game. Anelka had laid the ball back for the captain, now playing up front.
90 Yellow card Carvalho is booked for bringing down Barnsley captain Howard, who had made a charge forward on the break.
Stoppage time 3 mins
90+1 Chaos A goalmouth scramble ensues as Chelsea desperately search an equaliser. Pizarro, Anelka and Kalou all have shots blocked, and eventually Wright-Phillips volleys over.
90+3 All over Terry's volley is deflected up and over and Steve Bennett blows for full-time

Comment
This was Chelsea's first trip to Oakwell in just over a decade, our last visit producing a 6-0 victory, with four goals from Gianluca Vialli.
The last time Chelsea lost to lower league opposition in this competition was the quarter-finals of 1992, when second division Sunderland knocked us out en route to the final, where they lost to Liverpool. Millwall, of the same level, eliminated us out on penalties three years later.
It is Chelsea's first defeat in the FA Cup since April 2006, a 2-1 semi-final defeat at Old Trafford against Liverpool.
