EVERTON FC: ARTETA STARTS

The Spaniard is restored after a groin problem meant he was only fit enough for the bench in Florence earlier this week.

Lee Carsley is suspended and is replaced by Andrew Johnson, with the Toffees switching to a 4-4-2 formation.

Arteta is joined in midfield by Phil Neville, Steven Pienaar and Tim Cahill, but Leon Osman is out injured.

The defence features Tony Hibbert and Joleon Lescott, with regular central partnership Joseph Yobo and Phil Jagielka also included.

The bench includes Jack Rodwell for the first time in a Premier League fixture, with Thomas Gravesen, Victor Anichebe, Leighton Baines and Iain Turner also in reserve.
