MAN UN:Blues pegged back by Spurs
Chelsea failed to draw level with Arsenal in the Premier League title race, after being held to an enthralling 4-4 draw at Tottenham.
/noticias.info/ Didier Drogba headed Avram Grant's side into the lead after three minutes but, not for the first time in the match, Spurs roared back and drew level through Jonathan Woodgate's header.
Michael Essien almost immediately restored Chelsea's lead and, after Ashley Cole had escaped with a yellow card for a reckless challenge on Alan Hutton, Joe Cole scored just after half-time.
Dimitar Berbatov and Tom Huddlestone both struck, the former a header, the latter a left-footed scorcher into the far corner.
Joe Cole struck his second of the match with a delightful top-corner finish 10 minutes from time, only for Robbie Keane to curl home the goal of the match on 88 minutes.
Spurs almost pinched all three points in injury-time, but Berbatov's close-range shot was superbly turned around the post by Blues goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini.
The result leaves Chelsea five points adrift of United and two behind Arsenal, with all three teams having eight games remaining. notas_de_prensa_archivo
