CHELSEA FC: IT'S A RACE ON THE PODCAST
/noticias.info/ It's a title race extravaganza in this week's podcast as Chelsea draw ever closer to Arsenal in the league before we host our north London rivals on Sunday.
This week the podcast concentrates on the Blues' massive week on the field with the north London double. There is reaction from Spurs, Avram Grant's thoughts on the Champions League draw with Turkish champions Fenerbahce and news from last night's FA Youth Cup action.
'Any draw in a quarter-final is hard, but any draw for me is a team that we can beat, we are not afraid of any team,' said Grant, talking about the Champions League draw.
With this week being all about the title race you can hear the thoughts of the British press as Ian McGarry (The Sun) and Matt Barlow (The Daily Mail) discuss the current state of play in the latest edition of Paperview.
'We're all grateful that we've got to this stage of the season and it's suddenly more than alive, it's virtually exploding,' said McGarry.
'It's all about morale and confidence, this season everyone has dropped points here and there - Arsenal have drawn 10 games which is an incredible amount and they might have only lost one but with three points for a win and one for a draw - it's a terrible run,' added Barlow.
Then, not forgetting Sunday's game against Arsenal, Scott Minto previews the match, which could take us above our north London rivals in the league.
'This is one of the biggest games of the season, Chelsea have to win, they can't afford to draw,' said Minto.
'Chelsea can play two ways, they can be as technically good as Arsenal and can dig in and be strong, with the likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba as the spine of the team.'
'Chelsea can win ugly and win pretty,' added Minto.
