ARSENAL: Wenger - I can't say who stands to lose most

/noticias.info/ By Matt Fortune

Arsène Wenger does not know who has the most to lose from 'Grand Slam Sunday.'

Instead the Frenchman would rather discuss who stands to gain. His answer, of course, hopefully Arsenal.

A win for the Gunners coupled with defeat for Manchester United, who play Liverpool at Old Trafford, would leave the sides level pegging at the top of the Premier League.

"It is difficult to answer who has most to lose," said Wenger on Friday. "I would like to answer who has most to win and I hope it will be us.

"What is interesting and different between this Sunday and the previous one is that all four teams are in a position where they will want to win. We are in the final part of the season and you could say basically that on Sunday night you will now much more about the title race."

So would defeat at Stamford Bridge spell the end for Arsenal's title hopes?

"I don’t think it will be decisive," continued Wenger. "All I want to think though is that we will win. What I know is that the outcome of the title race will be decided by direct confrontations with Manchester United and Chelsea.

"So let's start with the first one and win it and then beat the second one." notas_de_prensa_archivo
