EVERTON FC: MOYES TIPS JAGS FOR ENGLAND

/noticias.info/ David Moyes reckons Phil Jagielka isn't far away from the England squad.

Jagielka wasn't included in Fabio Capello's latest party, but the surprise inclusion of Middlesbrough's David Wheater highlighted the fact that the Italian is willing to consider other options.

The former Sheffield United man does have an England B cap to his name.

And Moyes has been delighted with Jagielka, who has been a revelation since switching to centre half.

Asked if he was surprised at the omission of Jagielka and Leon Osman, the boss replied: "Partly, because of how those boys have been playing.

"My job is hard enough though, without picking the England team!

"I don't pick the team but Phil Jagielka has played really well, he's played really well in Europe and really well in the league.
