FOOTBALL EUROPE: Ferreira signs new Porto contract

The 61-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal that was agreed in principle last month, having taken over at the Estádio do Dragão in summer 2006 and led Porto to the championship last season. He can repeat the feat this weekend should his side – who are 16 points clear at the top with six matches left – overcome CF Estrela da Amadora.
