FIFA: Keshi is new coach of Mali

/noticias.info/ Nigerian Stephen Keshi has been named as the new coach of Mali, the west African nation's football federation announced on Wednesday.

He replaces Frenchman Jean-Francois Jodar who was sacked on 12 March following his side's poor performances at the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in Ghana.

A federation spokesman said that Keshi, who was in charge of Togo last year, would be tasked with qualifying Mali for the finals of the next Africa Cup of Nations and South Africa 2010. notas_de_prensa_archivo
