CHELSEA FC: TWO IN, TWO OUT FOR CITY
/noticias.info/ Manchester City are expected to have winger Martin Petrov and midfielder Michael Johnson available for our trip to Eastlands tomorrow, but Micah Richards remains sidelined.
The England defender has not played for City since February, after injuring a knee in their 2-0 home defeat to Everton.
Petrov and Johnson are likely to have recovered from flu and groin problems, and the England under-21 man is hoping City can banish the memories of our 6-0 win in October.
'Six-nil was embarrassing - I was embarrassed after the game - but it won't happen this time,' he told the club's official website.
'It was strange because nobody could see it coming. I think at the time we were third in the league and to get beaten like that, I just don't know how it happened because they only had six chances and we were unlucky.
'We'll have to give them a run for their money, work as hard as we can and hopefully we can get a result. Even a draw would lift our confidence.'
In addition to Richards, left-back Michael Ball, who earlier this season was tipped to challenge our own Ashley Cole and Wayne Bridge for an international spot, will miss out with a knee problem.
Tomorrow's game can be seen live at Stamford Bridge, as we are able to offer a beamback service from the Blues Bar. Kick-off is at 3pm, and entry is £10. Tickets can be purchased from the Megastore only. notas_de_prensa_archivo
