CHELSEA FC: IT'S KERRY VERSUS PADDY!
/noticias.info/ It would surely take a Devon Lock scenario for Kerry Dixon to catch bookmaker Paddy Power before the end of the season in their head-to-head challenge.
Both have been placing free charity bets on Chelsea games this season with the winning total going to CLIC Sargent come mid-May. Paddy has raised £1333 to Kerry's £591.
Just because he is a long way behind his rival, it doesn't mean Kerry is giving up the chase yet. He is looking to bounce back this weekend, as the team will be after their midweek Champions League defeat.
'Because they will be desperate to make amends for that set-back is why I am sure it will be a Chelsea win this week. Man City haven't been any great shakes recently but they still have a pretty decent home record.
'But our record away to City is as good as our away record anywhere so I'm going for a win by a single margin. I'm putting £25 of my stake on Chelsea to win 1-0 at 9/2 and £25 on 2-1 at 7/1.'
Paddy responds:
'Chelsea could find themselves in third place again but only until kick-off again when they should beat Manchester City at Eastlands.
'Sven's Man City have lost only twice at home but I think I'll chance half my £50 on Chelsea to win at 8/11.
'The full result odds are
7/2 Man City win
5/2 Draw
8/11 Chelsea win
'After being substituted in Istanbul, I expect Frank Lampard to hit back with a bang so I'm going to have £15 on him scoring the first goal at 6/1 and £10 on him to score two or more at 17/1.'
'Some other goal score odds you may wish to consider are:
4/1 Drogba 1st goal
5/1 Anelka 1st goal
17/2 Drogba scores 2 or more
12/1 Anelka scores 2 or more. notas_de_prensa_archivo
