Osman scored the only goal of the game - his seventh of the campaign - after switching to central midfield against the league's basement club.

And after the game, Moyes declared that Osman's performance was the difference between the sides.

"It was a lovely pass and a lovely finish," Moyes told evertonfc.com.

"I though Leon Osman made the difference to the team when he moved into the middle of the park. The 20 minutes or so that he spent in there was probably the difference.
