Pick April's star man and goal

/noticias.info/ As the dust settles on the rollercoaster month of April, United sit atop the Premier League with two games remaining, and with a Champions League final date against Chelsea looming.

Eight dramatic matches in 30 days yielded victories over Roma (twice), Arsenal and Barcelona, draws with the Catalans, Middlesbrough and Blackburn, and defeat at Chelsea.

In the face of such a testing and congested fixture list, a string of United players continually turned in outstanding performances and bagged some superb goals in the process.

But who do you think was the Reds' outstanding player in April? Stand-in skipper Rio Ferdinand was a tower of strength in defence, as were Wes Brown and makeshift right-back Owen Hargreaves.

Edwin van der Sar made some crucial saves, while at the other end Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez worked tirelessly and contributed some huge goals.

Not only were a number of the Reds' goals hugely important, there were also some absolute belters. Scholesy's scorcher against Barca, Owen's free-kick against Arsenal and Ronny's thunderous header in Rome all stand out.

So too do Tevez's pair of headers - against Blackburn and Roma - and Wayne Rooney's brilliant finish at Stamford Bridge. But which do you think was the best?
