PLAYING EXTRA TIME

/noticias.info/ Everton travel to the Emirates this weekend to take on Arsenal, just over a year on from the tragic and untimely death of Everton legend Alan Ball.

Ball, who had five year stints at both clubs, broke the English transfer fee record twice - once when he joined Everton and then when he left to join the Gunners for £220,000 in 1971.

And to celebrate the life of such an admired individual, evertonfc.com is offering you the opportunity to get your hands on Ball’s autobiography - ‘Playing Extra Time’, courtesy of publishers Pan Macmillan.

This is an autobiography that transcends football - a story that is both inspirational and deeply moving.

To win a copy, simply answer the question below and fill in your details. Famous for his fiery red hair and white boots, Ball was a phenomenal midfielder admired for his ball-control, speed and inventiveness.

At his peak with the Blues, the midfielder teamed up with Howard Kendall and Colin Harvey to form one of the most impressive midfield line-ups ever and made the Toffees a formidable team towards the end of the 1960s.
